After Effect is a UK based (Now EU) Raiding guild / Community that was formed from a group of friends that used to play CSS competitively. We now focus on WoW (Also play a bit of BF:BC2) and play on Frostmane EU - Horde (Transfered from Alliance Dec 09). Essentially the guild has a solid 10-15 core members that have stuck with each other from pretty much day one.
Our goals in the guild are...
To complete content at our own pace and not be dictated by what guild X and Y are doing, we are only interested in our own progress!
To run a friendly, Light-hearted enviroment where people can have a laugh and a joke but also can show up to a raid and take things seriously when called upon.
Our raiding times are later than most guilds this is too accommodate the majority of our players and future players as we all work, go to uni/school and we all have some form social lives (Fri/Saturday free of raiding) so realistically can't be sitting at our PC for 24 hours 7 days a week:
Raiding days and hours (Servertime):
Wednesday 20:30 - 23/24:00
Thursday 20:30 - 23/24:00
Sunday 20:00 - 23/24:00
Further raids such as 10 mans and alt runs are done on the off days.
We expect 100% attendance on these 3 nights - of course there'll be times when you can't make raids so to make sure this never becomes an issue, accept/reject raids on ingame calendar and tell an officer or post on fourms as to why! Poor raid attendance will result in an automatic removal from the guild.
Ideally we're looking for skilled, sociable players who want to see endgame content but can't neccessarily play the hours of a hardcore raider every week.
In the future...we intend to re-establish the guild as a respected, competent raiding guild, with good players and a good all round attitude - ideally adding more players to our core group for the start of Cataclysm. - New guild achievement system and rated Battleground is something we're really looking foward to.
What we can offer:

Chance to play in a Guild thats fair and treats everyone with respect.
Chance to see Endgame content - We might not be the server top10 kills but we will get their eventually.
Use of a fair (Balanced) DKP loot system in 25 Man content.
We roll loot in 10 mans however will give priority on substantial upgrades to whoever needs them the most.
Hopefully and most importantly be a part of a solid group of players thats been playing over 5 years - (not just in WoW)
Mates > Epics.
Guild > Indviduals.

Recruitment information:
Our main focus is ICC25 and our current progress is 10/12. We also are currently raiding ICC10 12/12 in Normal, and 10/12 in Heroic.
Also expect to wipe and come back and improve, if wiping on a boss a whole night isn't your thing then don't bother applying, as I say we will not be dictated by X or Y guild has killed this boss.

What we expect in our future aswell as current members:

You are not an idiot or retard that will give the guild a bad name.
You are an open minded person aswell as mature person that can handle a joke.
We expect you to show up and raid for our the assigned 3 nights: Wed, Thurs & Sun 20/20:30-23/24:00
You are not scared to use Voice communication, we are very sociable bunch and would prefere people to join in rather than just listen.
You have a stable connection aswell as a decent computer that can run the game Without any major issues.
You are not a guild hopper. We want dedicated players that play as part of a community, we dont not want people who will jump ship as soon as they get a better offer without even making a go of it in the guild.
