Blood-Queen Lana'thel downed tonight after 2 tries - around 6 or 7 in total as we had 5 attempts last week with no proper soaker tank for blood mirror, so struggled! Was comfartable tonight barring the fact our DPS was a little slow and basically hit the Fear as we had to bite, so 2 unlucky wipes due to that! Valrithia Dreamwalker also revived tonight aswell, 18 attempts left of Sindragosa and Lich King this reset!
Rotface down tonight after 7 or 8 tries tonight but we got their in the end once everyone finally locked down the co-ordination towards the latter end of the fight - Also was nice to see people were still focused and willing to carry on after some close 4.5% wipes and some shockingly bad tries previously. GJ all and Grats to Saintofkiler, Boorz & Jupsik on some upgrades. WoL reports in WoW forums - general chat for anyone interested.
Festergut finally down after around 6 tries tonight! No denying it was tough going as we had half geared raid for it and half not due to some of the higher DPS not being able to make tonight, so it meant we had to pretty much do every thing perfectly as our dps was walking on a thin tightrope with hitting the enrage timer. After a few agonising 2% wipes we got there eventually and has to be said it was one of the most satisfying kills of WOTLK due to the nature of the group we had. Excellent job by all.
First week venturing into 25 man ICC as a full guild (taking 40% trialists) and we've managed to clear up to Festergut and one 19% try on Rotface - not bad considering one raid night ended prematurely due to lagg. Rotface and blood princes to drop next week and hopefully have a bash at Putricide or Lanathel on 25 aswell.
Putricide down tonight after 4 tries! Really nice fight thats both challenging and fun. Leather Helm for Rza and Cloth Belt for Allina. Definately the toughest "normal" encounter we've experienced over our 2 years or so of our existence, really requires everyone being on the ball and high DPS to finally drop him. Looking promising for the Lich King encounter.
The core group of After Effect has faction transfered to Horde and are now recruiting for 25 man ICC. We currently have ICC 10 man content cleared and working our way back to 25 man raiding.
For those who don't know us we were a semi-serious/casual community based guild on Alliance side that cleared most content on 10 and 25 man pre-totc. Our intentions are much the same on Horde, we raid 3 nights a week Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday (at a later raid start time than most) 20:30pm till 23:00pm.
